Veeder-Root Course Descriptions
Laptops with high speed Internet, and serial port or serial replicator are Required. Windows Vista and Windows 7 are NOT currently supported.

Level 1 Installation

This is a home study course that Veeder-Root requires for proper installation of their equipment. It can be purchased by contacting the Gilbarco/Veeder-Root Technical Training Registrar at (336) 547-5743.

Level 2/3 Start-Up and Service 4 days - (Including TLS-450) $1200.00

Prerequisite: Successful completion of the Level 1 Home Study Course. Mandatory console web based training will be assigned prior to attending class. Some of the subjects covered in this class are listed below:

• Installation Review
• Automatic Tank Gauge Operation
• Hands-On Programming
• Software Capabilities
• MAG Probe & Sensor Installation, Operation, and Troubleshooting
• Electronic Line Leak Detection – includes PLLD and WPLLD
• Tank Testing
• Business Inventory Reconciliation (BIR)
• Diagnostic Troubleshooting
• Start up and Service Procedures

Level 4 Recertification

Prerequisite: This class is required 24 months after successful completion of the Level 2/3 course, for re-certification purposes. Contact technicaltraining@gilbarco.com to complete this course.

TLS-450 - 1 day $500.00

Prerequisite: Current Level 2/3 or Level 4 Certification required. Mandatory web based training will be assigned prior to attending class.

Gasboy Plus Systems Class - 5 Days $1500.00
Laptops with High speed Internet and serial port or serial replicator REQUIRED:
Windows Vista and Windows 7 are now supported for this class, if you have HyperTerminal or a terminal emulation program installed on your laptop for serial communications. Mandatory web based training will be assigned prior to attending class.

• Islander Plus and ICR Plus
• CFN Plus
• Fuel Truck Controller
• Fuel Point Plus Systems

Prerequisite: Completion of web based portion of the Dispensing Systems course. This price includes LMS (web based portion) fees and literature used during the class. Mandatory web based training will be assigned prior to attending class.

Laptop Requirements: All classes have laptop requirements and they are listed below Dispensing Systems:

• Dispensing Systems: Windows 2000 or Windows XP (not currently supporting Windows Vista or Windows 7). Serial port or serial port replicator for connection to dispensers. High Speed internet access (either wired or wireless).
• Veeder-Root Classes: Windows 2000 or Windows XP (not currently supporting Windows Vista or Windows 7). Serial port or serial port replicator for RS232 communication. Crossover cable and Wired Ethernet port for TCP/IP communication (RJ45 port). High Speed internet access.
• Gasboy Plus: Windows 2000, Windows XP. ( Windows Vista and Windows 7 if you have HyperTerminal or a terminal emulation program for Serial communications). Internet Explorer 7 and up. Wired Ethernet port for TCP/IP communication. High Speed internet access. Java Application (Can be downloaded from http://Java.com)
• Red Jacket: High Speed Internet access (either wireless or wired)
